This is what I know, a place is the people.
My passion for filmmaking – which is really a passion for connecting with people – comes from my nomadic childhood. I grew up in Zimbabwe, Australia, Indonesia and the South Pacific, and from my earliest years was fascinated with the incredible diversity of cultures, traditions and languages on our planet.
As an adult I parlayed my curiosity into a career in documentary filmmaking and have spent 25 years traveling the world making films for the National Geographic Channel. My job as a filmmaker is to get close to people and places in a way that few ever will and as guide I bring the same determination to curating unique travel experiences as I do to making compelling films. My goal is to transform the way you see the world and way you see yourself.
Whether you’d like to climb a volcano in the Congo or take a stroll on Spain’s Camino Santiago, a spin around Istanbul or a hike into through the Kenyan wilderness my bespoke travel adventures are shaped to provide maximum engagement with people and the natural world and to transform you into an accomplished photographer and storyteller.
